Peloton emits high RF radiation while operating on WiFi, and its strong electric field puts a high AC voltage onto the rider’s body. Besides just being bad for you in general, these exposures are particularly counterproductive while exercising.
Follow these simple tips to create a safe low-EMF exercising environment while using your Peloton.
Using the included ungrounded 2-prong power plug, my body voltage while on the bike showed 22.42 volts, a very high reading.
Switching to a grounded 3-prong plug made a huge difference as body voltage dropped to just 0.89 volts.
Instead of using WiFi, use an Ethernet-to-USB-C adapter to connect a hardwired Cat-6 or Cat-7 ethernet cord to the USB-C port on the back of the monitor. Be sure to switch off the WiFi in the network settings.
